@buermann@mastodon.social You haven't seen my prior posts from yesterday regarding the ineffectiveness of merely reducing the use of ruminants. Eating less won't change anything. Whole industries are dependent upon animal agriculture. The car tire industry alone requires that one cow be killed just to make 66 car tires. The leather industry uses 340 million cow hides each year to produce shoes and upholstery. Merely cutting back a few ounces of beef a week won't save a cow from being raised & slaughtered.
