My guess is that there is enormous graft going on in federal contracting right now. These processes are less visible than grants in some ways, especially if there are no-bid contracts because of claims of an emergency. So when we see examples like this people should be concerned.

The irony, of course, is that this administration says it is dedicated to stopping the misuse of federal dollars. But "fraud" has become just one more excuse to cut off funds to blue states and blue states only. They have blocked $2.7 billion in funding to CA and MN. bsky.app/profile/atru...
