@EthicalProfessor@mstdn.social In med school one of the OBGYN profs wanted me to join the field, and I said I was thinking more about pediatrics. He said I was stereotyping myself as a woman. Obviously I didn't say this aloud, but I was like "So I should join a different majority female profession?" Far from the worst thing I saw or heard, which is why I'm sharing it: that's funny-stupid. The other stuff isn't funny. But it shows the lack of self awareness.
