@berber@chaos.social With reggae, I've always loved the "dub version" where you hear the same track with only the beats. Sadly, we lost dub great Robbie Shakespeare a few years ago, and Sly Dunbar just last month. There's a decent chance that they're playing on any reggae favorite track.

@alison you are jumping between a lot of genres here, from gen Z stuff, to jazz, and now reggae. dub versions of things are a whole story for themselves, all the way from very specific meanings to just meaning "instrumental". but no slowdowns afaik.
