Temple of Doom is the Indiana Jones movie that has aged worst. But the relationship between Short Round (one of Ke Huy Quan's first big roles) & Indy is really cool. Yes, this would be child endangerment in real life, but this is an '80s adventure movie, where part of the fantasy for the younger viewers is that a kid their age is on this adventure, too. You can tell Indy truly cares about Shorty, and presumably Indy eventually gets him to a more normal life. #mcknowhe #indianajones /5
