OTOH, Ellen Ripley, the prime minister of femme McKnowshes has totally clean hands as regards her junior sidekick. It def was not her call to send children to a pod planet.

And bringing this full circle, sometimes the McKnowhe's antagonist is Sam Neill! 😀 In Event Horizon (the best space horror movie ever don't argue with me) Joely Richardson as Starck, Laurence Fishburne as Miller, & Jason Isaacs as D.J. are very McKnowhe-ish.
