@timixretroplays@digipres.club @len@nyan.network Personal DNS Filter would work for the ads as long as it is running all of the time and for video PipePipe (or NewPipe) is really good but I don't know if the person using the phone would keep it updated frequently enough. Both are in the main F-Droid repository.

@timixretroplays@digipres.club @len@nyan.network then again if they click on everything updating PipePipe would be easy enough as the inline updater prompts through the process. The only issue is that they now know how to install applications independently and any possible security issues that can go along with that.
