@troed@swecyb.com @dangillmor@mastodon.social read the ruling. it's ancient and fits exactly to OpenAI and Anthropic. intent is what elites use to abuse the law. it's the opposite of justice. it's the KKK saying they didn't intend to kill the Black man they tortured to death in front of a court house in broad daylight. that's a real case. and the real reason that intent is more a tell, lawlessness, not a defense. that's why law judges behavior.

    @flyingpenguin@infosec.exchange I of course know the ruling well - that was a rhetorical question. You seemingly don't know how intent is evaluated which was the whole point of my initial post. In short, no, the Morris Worm case is not relevant here. @dangillmor@mastodon.social
