@idlebrain@infosec.exchange @GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social if I were to guess, "no additional supply planned" is because: 1. Setting up a new fab costs $billions; 2. Would take years to come online; and 3. When the AI bubble bursts, there will be no demand for the new capacity and no one wants to be left with $billions worth of stranded assets.
