@captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space I wonder how this works for sexual health clinics - do they just work outside the medicare system?
But the proper solution for this is of course that children need medical privacy.
The age of presumed medical competency in Australia is 14 I'm pretty sure so kids should get their own medicare card when they're 14 then.

@runningoff@lgbtqia.space That's exactly my view on things. If the age of medical competency is 14 then 14 year olds should have their own Medicare card. It doesn't completely fix the issue but it's a step in the right direction
