@jasongorman@mstdn.business Some days I just look at our industry and wonder how it ever managed to fall so low. There was a brief period of enlightenment but I feel we are back to being voices in the wilderness. And I’m tired of fighting.

@thirstybear@agilodon.social Sad, but true. In the 90s, the % of us who saw software development fundamentally as a learning process was tiny. In 2026, it's still tiny. The money wants the reassuring fantasy of factories, blueprints and predictability, and it always will.
