@6@possum.city I grew up in the 1990s, surrounded by frustratingly unobservant and tech-illiterate adults. Kids are clever little SOBs. They prove it every time they bully someone and get away with it scot-free. Which they do constantly. Adults gleefully outsource their whole entire thought processes to TV/Facebook/AI/etc while kids rightly call you dumb if you don't use your head. So yes, of course kids reject the latest advertising. Kids were never the impressionable ones. And I'm still frustrated.
