Miles Franklin Award for literature Omar Musa wins this year’s Miles Franklin Award for literature. Omar wouldn’t know me. However, in the early ‘00’s I lived for a while in the home of Stella Wilkie, who was very involved in theatre. A frequent visitor was Helen Musa, Omar’s mum, theatre writer, sometimes accompanied by a young Omar.
