@sun@shitposter.world basically viewing it as a very happy land up above where you reunite with your dead relatives and jesus is there too. whereas jesus emphasized that no one has a husband or wife in heaven

@georgia@netzsphaere.xyz @sun@shitposter.world There are indications of a reunion with those you know and ancestors in other verses. Marriage in particular just doesn't have a theological purpose after death because you're already part of a greater thing.
