Wednesday El Niño update - Record warmth continues in the key monitoring region called Niño 3.4, which is due to both the long-term warming of the tropics (climate change) and the developing El Niño. Over the last 7 days, there has been a steady warming across the central Pacific. Data: NOAA OISSTv2.1.

    @ZLabe@fediscience.org Am i old? Yes. Am i old enough to miss the upcoming bad part of this? Unfortunately not.😬😱 Am not daring to imagine what's coming, considering the magnitude of this extrem *global* "trend". It's like staring into the center of a Slow Mo starting to blow up bomb.
