If you haven't read it, the Ware Tetralogy (formally: "Software", "Wetware", "Freeware", and "Realware") is simultaneously some of the best cyberpunk ever written and also totally defies the genre. Gibson called Rudy "sui generis" in the foreword and he's absolutely right. Geezer flower-children inherit Florida after riots, the robot "boppers" inherit the Moon, and there is a surprising variety of configuration of who is fucking who.
