@ezlin yeah the whole scene isn't like that, but a lot of it is. I don't participate in it. I'm in a DJ collective and venue people can book us and I'm playing 2-4 gigs a week which is plenty. But I just can't deal with those people anymore. It's too much. And I've worked with enough venues to know that they usually all shake out the same way. I'm proud to say that the two venues I've run in the last 5 years stayed away from that. But even if you keep your own isolated, the venue crowd is the venue crowd.
