Remember when AOL and MSN were bitchslapping each other over access to messenger users. I do. I was the tester, sleeping under my desk between “emergency” builds for days. Years later, I ended up on an app date with a dev from the AOL team. We swapped war stories, not DNA. It sounded equally glamorous on that end. 🤓 I found a post about it by someone else once.
