It seems very quiet outside this morning, apart from manmade traffic rumble, a plane and a train. A coal tit is calling now and again, and there is some sparrow chatter, but not much. I’ve only spotted 2 house martins and no swifts. There are no moths in the pond this morning, but plenty in the house. A dragonfly is patrolling the gardens.
