@mcnado@mstdn.social my issue w the ED docs was that they really struggle w finding doctors willing to work rural areas. my health system is a very good example of that.
also, when going to the ED in the town i was living in, i would have gladly had a PA or an NP treat me instead of some of the doctors, especially the one that would do spinal taps on EVERY SINGLE PERSON that came in with a headache. it was happening so often that everyone in the lab (including myself) complained.
