@economics_that_works@fedigroups.social @ChrisMayLA6@mastodon.me.uk I don’t understand why the Bank of Japan just doesn’t deploy QE. They can stack up a bunch of Japanese bonds yeah dumb hand the treasury of Japan, a bunch of yen and by the fountain pen right down some big chunk of Japan’s monetary base.
