There is however, a lot of logic and flip flops on TC-2 between CBUSY and the counter chip Pressing PAGE should set the terminal to "ALPHA" mode (I.E. alpha-numeric AKA text as opposed to graphics), and checking the counter chip, sure enough pressing PAGE sets it to make the multiplexer read from the keyboard My current working theory is that some logic should be triggering when PAGE is pressed, which in turn sets another flip flop, and prevents CBUSY from incrementing that counter on every TX event Thankfully the amazing @philpem@digipres.club is coming down to Nottinghack this weekend hopefully we might be able to put this theory to test
