I reckon Apple Pay might be the most secure option with Google Pay in second place. I use the former exclusively because it means I don’t even need to take my wallet anywhere. I’m in the UK and contactless dominates here.
+1 on credit cards because of the increased protections.
Also, none of my physical cards have embossed numbers any more so it’s trivial to tape over them.

@svavar@masto.svavar.com I've also used privacy.com a lot. You can make burner cards that are really customizable (like "can only be used for $21/month", or "good for $100 total"). I wish they had a way to use them with tap & pay on my phone, or like a rewritable physical card, so I could use it everywhere. @vees@jawns.club @wbud@tech.lgbt @deviantollam@defcon.social
