I'm sure you do, Ben.
My point was more about the adoption of anthropomorphic language to describe language models, and their behaviour (which is entirely programmed). And which we all subconsciously echo.
Which is all part of the marketing hype.

@se_davidobrien@mastodon.scot I’m usually pretty careful not to anthropomorphize LLMs, so sorry if it sounded like that’s what I was doing.
