@Mrfunkedude@beige.party I'm so sorry to see it! I've been using Linux for a while and don't need Virus protection, I don't even worry about it. The more popular it becomes the more attention it gets from hackers and the dark side!

@Mrfunkedude@beige.party I sure do hope the recent Linux dramas that have been happening does not affect this in the long term. Linux just has to do nothing and win, Valve and other contributors have been doing a ton of work meanwhile Linus is trying to do some stuff and keeps shooting himself and the Linux project in the foot.

@Mrfunkedude@beige.party I'm honestly surprised this guy is surprised by the rise of a usable operating system that doesn't shovel ads directly into the users face. I was a Windows guy for the longest time. Shit, I even went to college in order to work within that corporate industry. It took me years to get comfortable using Linux. And now people are asking me for help in order to get off the M$ train? There's something wrong there. I've helped save a few working machines from the M$ hellscape.
