@davep@infosec.exchange @VickForcella@mastodon.derg.nz the new battery I got is an outrageous expense in some sense. It's 13k, when the car only cost me 4k when I bought it second hand about a year ago. but if you compare it to other cars with 70kwh with similar mileage (~80k km on the odometer! I got it with less than 70k on it), it's suddenly rather cheap again (comparatively speaking), especially considering this will be an completely brand new battery straight from the factory
