@pixelpusher220@dmv.community @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org pro cyclists and their teams spend major time and bucks doing aero testing of clothing, down to the socks, shape/fit of the skinsuit, etc. there was a huge debate this summer about the cyclist in the lead in general classification (GC) wearing the race color skinsuit as opposed to the skinsuit they'd custom fitted. loads of speculation about how this could mean a slow down of 1 second per km, which doesn't seem like a lot but on a 20km time trial, in a race where the lead was sometimes in just 10-15 seconds, that matters...
