Wow Mount Hood Meadows ski resort got evacuated because of the approaching Grasshopper Fire. The live cams are still up and running at Meadows so perhaps we'll all get to watch the place burn today if the east winds don't stop 😬 https://www.skihood.com/mountain-report/mountain-cams The Grasshopper Fire already burned an iconic fire lookout a few days ago and has consumed most of the Badger Creek Wilderness. It looks like they're getting worried it'll spill out to the south into the historic Barlow Trail area. That area already had a fire a few years ago so perhaps it won't be as bad this time if this fire gets there.
