Plastic covered greenhouses stay above freezing all winter at 40° North at 1463 meters altitude from straw bales covered with 6mil plastic to large commercial ones. Mirrors are used to reflect sunlight for heating from backyards to industrial scale power generation.

My idea was a mirror inside the greenhouse, to amplify and redirect the light that's already coming in. On one of the walls where the sunlight comes in, directed towards the shaded side. Then I thought, wow that would be a hassle, mirrors are so easily breakable. Maybe some kind of aluminum/metal foil? Space blankets? Haha.
