My idea was a mirror inside the greenhouse, to amplify and redirect the light that's already coming in. On one of the walls where the sunlight comes in, directed towards the shaded side. Then I thought, wow that would be a hassle, mirrors are so easily breakable. Maybe some kind of aluminum/metal foil? Space blankets? Haha.

    @filomel@musician.social Ordinary mirrors are just as fragile as ordinary window glass, but we use that everywhere, including greenhouses. Surely it could be something cheaper/stronger/simpler as we do not need quite optical properties and a perfect image reflected. @stevewfolds@mastodon.world @faab64@todon.eu @gardening@fedigroups.social
