I mean, the problem is ultimately that we’ve killed all the healthy non-work social systems and maybe we should fix that rather than go back into the office.

@wordshaper@weatherishappening.network and maybe, just maybe, the fact that nobody can afford to live in the city near their work anymore and everyone seems to have a 1h+ commute on either side of their 8h work day and is too dead to even entertain the idea of socialising after that might have something to do with all this too?

Just to be clear, I’m cool if you like your coworkers and find the social environment at your workplace pleasant. Just… it 100% should be optional. You should have healthy social options outside of work.
