Everybody knows green means something is on and red means it's off. Blue or white lights could literally mean anything. Manufacturers need to stop using them just because they think they look cool

    @anon_opin@mastodon.social About 8% of men (but far fewer women) are red–green colourblind. That's why UK mains plugs now use blue and brown and why earth is marked by green and yellow rather than one solid colour. Relying on red and green to communicate safety-critical information is ableist.
