My provisional kit would be: a Boox tablet, Pomera DM100 writerdeck, Innioasis Y1 mp3/video player, still need a dumbphone and an internet terminal (working on it). Needs to be USB-C rechargable from a power bank (optionally via USB-C AA cells). Got most of it already, though.

@cstross@wandering.shop @dougmerritt@mathstodon.xyz just get a 2019 (or later) Microsoft Surface Go off eBay or whatever. They run Debian just fine, and the keyboard in the flip cover is good enough. Sufficiently powerful for writing and email. Encrypt the hard drive during install, natch.
