From Strong Towns, a brief comment on a graphic going around social media showing the different priorities of Europe vs America when it comes to land use and transportation. Europe, which focuses on mass transit, has a dense, vibrant, and varied skyline, whereas the American equivalent is a couple of tall buildings being the only useful and productive spot, surrounded by a lot of wasted space in the form of parking lots.
