Briefly in London (no, not that one) to visit my sister.
I think I was here briefly in the '70s as a little kid, but can't remember much except that the grass was all dead and I'd never seen such a thing before.

Just realizing that this may be the first time I'm with a sibling for my birthday in more than four decades! A rare thing indeed. And as a kid it was always a dual-birthday thing, as my brother's is yesterday. Prob what it was like for people with near-Christmas birthdays– it's never really your own thing.
