@shanecelis@mastodon.gamedev.place @georgelerofim@bird.makeup Unfortunately, the Founders could not have anticipated the corrosive effect of today's commercial media (streaming, video games, etc) & hyper-democratized media we expected to usher in the reign of pure democracy (remember those days?) on the information pool & minds of many everyday citizens, affording a very cheap and major platform for the worst of the worst to proclaim their toxicicity far and wide.
