comparing steve yegge's essays from 2015 to his current ones gives a very sad example of how the LLM-mediated cognitive decline looks like.

@mawhrin@circumstances.run how the x looks/what the x looks like - 'how the x looks like' doesn't make sense, but this may or may not matter to you so cw for people who have no need of such pedanting, including yourself (since we're thinking about people using LLMs vs learning things like how 2 write good, thought it might be of use)
