I think servers in 1U config are called blades. CPU and all. Pretty sure they’re loud.

@yaroto98@lemmy.world @scottmeme@sh.itjust.works Nah, a blade server is a weird format where servers are long rectangular "blades" that push into and can be pulled out of an enclosure in the rack which holds around 16 of them. How I know: deployed a 500-node render farm at Tangent Animation.
