@futurebird@sauropods.win For an extra shot of depression fuel, up here in Canada, and as often as not when I talk about the creeping privatization with health care workers, they turn into rah rah cheerleaders for it, because they believe they will make more money in that scenario.
Evil is so fucking banal sometimes.

@jpaskaruk@growers.social This is how I feel whenever I hear some 20 or 30 something say "we'll never get social security" With that attitude you can count on it. You have paid for it. You own it as much as anyone in this country owns any bit of property, stock, bonds or anything.
