PSA: the island country known as Nauru has changed its official spelling in Latin letters to Naoero, so from now on it's more respectful to write it this way. it's the same name as before, only written according to the orthographic rules of the dorerin Naoero. if you want to pronounce it the original way, it's much easier than the English: /ˈnao̯ero/. (the language is Oceanic btw, a somewhat distant relative of te reo Māori)
