If I were Microsoft, I'd be sweating it right now. In July they were all happy and giddy about fixing 500+ vulnerabilities with AI, but I bet most of them weren't even real and now they have a big list of unknown problems (maybe sleeper cell malware) in the OS code. https://www.theregister.com/security/2026/08/03/ai-slop-pollutes-the-cve-pipeline-with-fake-vulns/5282462
