was doing some work on my solar panels, heard squeaking, found a cat who caught a shrew, rescued the shrew, now unsure what to do with it. I put it in a bucket with a little cup of water, it seems okay and can move all its limbs, but mostly sitting still to recover presumably, either that or it's dying .. what should I do with it? put it back once it recovers a little I guess?

the reason I was slow was because I didn't realise the cat had already caught it, I was still trying to locate it, when I did I moved over immediately
