Just little more than a year later…
Last night, a large fire destroyed Bazary Kely, the largest public market in Toamasina (Madagascar’s second largest city, which is still trying to recover from a direct hit by Cyclone Gezani only six months ago).
At least one person dead and one injured.
~3200 booths destroyed, close to 90% of the market.
