@Taweret@timeloop.cafe The Visitor was produced by Ovidio G. Assonitis with part of the same cast as Monsterdon favorite Tentacles and I remember it being as goofy and over-the-top as his Exorcist ripoff Beyond the Door. #Monsterdon

@Taweret@timeloop.cafe In the Mouth of Madness is a film I really want to (re)watch but I want to watch it "straight": no watch party crowd for company/comfort, no chatter to distract. The Visitor, OTOH: everything I've heard about it sounds batsh*t & absolutely #Monsterdon-ready!

@Taweret@timeloop.cafe oh my god a John Carpenter flick in the #Monsterdon poll? I feel like this is a foregone conclusion for the horror knowers in the audience and if it wins we're gonna be eating good. Sam Neill is so good in this one. "God's not supposed to be a hack horror writer."
