Let's be clear: life in Gaza is devastating, cruel, and marked by war crimes.
Innocent families — men, women, children, and the elderly — have seen their homes and everything they know wiped out.
To call it duress is an understatement. It's precisely why they look to escape. I don’t mean physically, because there is no physical escape — Israel holds them fenced in as if in a prison.
No, I mean mentally and emotionally. Yet the Gaza Verified Scam group shares nothing except demands for money.

That is the biggest tell of all. Perhaps even bigger than Joy's video mistake revealing she is in Iran. Bigger than the photos showing the exact same posts, the exact same photos, and the exact same GoFundMe URLs reshared by multiple accounts. The simple fact is that the Gaza Verified Scam Group claims money — your money — will somehow cure them of all their woes, end the war crimes, and let them live in peace. That has been their song and dance for the past few years. It's their job.
