@darrell73@mastodon.online We can deal with the paywall and have done so. But the prospect of violence against blind people is very concerning.

@JonathanMosen@caneandable.social Huh? Violence? What did I miss? Sadly while we may have dodged the paywall for now I won't be surprised at all to see it return in another form that harms us. There are some businesses that explicitly ban smart glasses, so that's another kind of harm especially as the vast majority of those businesses have no plans for accessibility or providing reasonable accommodations.
