You are absolutely right, they shouldn't give up, and they won't.
But what you need to realize is that when they finally actually do the thing that is going to secure their future, all of you boomers are getting the pillow.

@cjd@pkteerium.xyz I am not a boomer. I started out dirt poor and have gotten quite rich and have had many huge set backs, I didn't get over any of them by giving up and giving in to discouragement (though had plenty of opportunities to do so) And the whole story is about people that have given up.
