Everybody understands how this works, right? 1) #ToddBlanche says whatever he needs to say to allow the GOP to save face. 2) The media credulously reports it with no acknowledgment that it's meaningless. 2) The GOP confirms Blanche as AG. 3) Blanche does whatever the fuck he wants, including things that directly contradict what he said before confirmation. 4) The GOP does piss-all about it.
