As a non-NYer, you don't really understand pizza disparity between NY and the rest of the world until you go to a random no-name restaurant in NYC and order a pizza- and its the greatest pizza you've ever had in your life. Literally recall sitting there with my bro and both of us were about to start crying because we both knew there were a million places in NYC that had better pizza and this was probably considered passable to the locals
