Idk he can just make a new account using a private frontend that does all the same blocking

He can block things for himself, sure. But everybody can do that. You don’t need to develop a whole frontend for that, it’s a feature of Lemmy that you can block whoever you want. What he’s now missing out on is that he can no longer block things for other people, like he so desperately wants to do.
